Geography in Year 8 continues to develop the key ideas of 'Geography in Action' which you started to explore in Year 7: Place, Scale, Processes, Connectedness, and Skills.
These key ideas are developed as you carry out geographical enquiry within the following topics:
You will also have the opportunity to set your own enquiry questions and to use geographical skills to investigate these. You will develop skills including fieldwork, map skills, problem solving, data analysis and teamwork. This course involves a day fieldtrip to the South Coast.
